I really struggled to help my daughter with her year 10 (4th form in old money) maths homework this week -simplifying algebraic fractions. I took both maths and additional maths at GCSE (‘O level in old money), albeit 45 years ago.
My conclusion and advice: ask your teacher (of course), do your best, but remember that none of those who can do this could ever draw or paint or use their imagination as beautifully as you. And no-one I know could name more one or two mathematicians, while almost everyone can name a dozen or more artists. It’s art not maths that changes worlds. I think.
