There are large numbers of Daily Mail/Express readers and Loud Blokes in the Gym Locker Room who think that, come 11.01pm on 29th March we can ‘close the borders and sort out those migrants’. I would point out however, that: 1) the French are unlikely to become more cooperative post-Brexit, and 2) the fact that we’re not in the EU won’t stop them wanting to come.

Makes you wonder what on earth the 2nd Referendum campaign will be like. And why anyone would give John Redwood a knighthood.
