If anyone is going to be in favour of the climate-change protesters main objectives, it’s surely those who have to use the M25. Reducing the number of cars on our roads, better public transport, living in the country, hugging every available tree, all of these are at the forefront, certainly of my mind whenever I have to crawl nose-to-tail on that particular Highway to Hell. Bringing the whole thing to a halt will, to say the least, have hardened the views of the Trump/Clarkson brigade and pushed many to go out and buy a gas-guzzler just to spite them. Foot-shooting of the highest order, I’d say.
