Here are some interesting facts which may help us to keep a sense of proportion. They’re on  the internet, so they must be true.  Last year, 12,000 died here from prostate cancer and 27,800 were killed or seriously injured on our roads. To date, 233,000 have died in the war in Yemen. If we really want to save lives, we could take some emergency measures. Like mandatory PSA and prostate exams for all men over 50; a big reduction in speed limits and lots more cameras and cops to enforce them; and not selling planes and guns to the Saudis. But we won’t.
