America is fine; we just need to make some dodgy deals with some countries mildly less, or as dodgy as Russia to get things moving again. So will the current crisis really change everything? Will we, if we’re fortunate enough to own a home, insulate, downsize and get the kids pedalling to boil the kettle? Or will the potential Brave New World turn out to be another lockdown pipe dream, when we thought the empty roads and quiet skies might become the ‘New Normal’. I’d say, alas, the former; and that we’ll be desperate for cheap heat, from wherever it may come.
