“F1 confirms Saudi race despite human rights protests”

I’ve written before about my falling out of love with F1. I moved from 40 years of never missing a race to ‘mneh’, not bothered when the cars started to sound like hairdryers and a Top Gear-y love of obscenely fast cars started to feel obscene. This latest ‘who cares, let’s go where the money is’ move is a tyre-change too far for me. You could sort-of close your eyes over a Russian GP. But Saudi? Really?
