A government prevaricating avoiding difficult decisions on issues which might affect our future for generations to come? Surely not? This time, I’m not talking about climate change, although well done Extinction Rebellion for putting it back in the headlines. No, this is the elephant in the room avoided since Blair’s Royal Commission reported and was ignored some 20 years ago: how we look after our parents, and shortly us, when we can’t. Unfortunately, those most affected can’t get out on the streets and glue themselves to Theresa May’s car. But somebody should.
