Both Labour and Tories are like divorced parents vying for the kid’s affections (we being the kids): ‘Stay with mummy and we’ll get fish and chips?’ ‘Sorry, daddy, says he’ll take us to MacDonalds and then ice skating…’ And of course, they all say it’s about policies, not personalities. Tosh. In the end it will come down to how many think  Boris is a bit of fun and a breath of fresh air; and how many of those are willing to give the ‘Cash in the Attic Christmas Special’ a miss and go out to vote.
