“Graham Norton perfectly summed up British people’s thoughts on Brexit”

Graham Norton’s analysis of Brexit has gone viral (nothing to do with the flu vaccine shortage, parents etc.): “Some sort of Brexit is going to happen even though at this point everyone knows it’s a bad idea. I do think that there is something very British about it. ‘I said I was hungry enough to eat my foot, so I’m going to eat my foot.’”

He’s Irish, of course and said it on Irish TV so will doubtless boost Mr Rees-Mogg and Cos’ arguments for a giant Brexit Wall across the Irish Sea. I think that’s what they want, isn’t it?
