Budget Week is now Spring Statement Week and Autumn Statement Week is Budget Week, so by the time it’s Spring Statement Week we’ve all forgotten the news from what was formerly Autumn Statement Week. The other Philip H. was, he said feeling ’tigger-like’ as opposed, I suppose, to Eeyore-ish or Piglet-esque. However, the dividend tax allowance is still reducing to £2,000 on 6th April, which means  many thousands  who have never had to and won’t know they’re supposed to, will need to fill in a tax return.
