OK, happy to admit a whole bunch of schadenfreude here. DIY investing, especially that guided by the ‘it’s not advice but, hey, might be a good idea but not our idea if it doesn’t work’ is alive and kicking. That’s despite the ‘Woodford Debacle’, where funds launched by star manager Neil Woodford were heavily promoted by HL, lured hordes of and £ms from retail investors before their collapse a couple of years ago. Although there was, I’m sure, plenty of appropriate small print and I’ll bet there’s a heck of a lot more now. Anyway, our new client numbers are up. So there, Peter Hargreaves.
“Green advisers push back at ‘lazy and dated’ sustainability views”
Nice to know that mine is not a lone voice, and that there is at least some 21st century, forward-thinking in the wider adviser community.
