Password wouldn’t work on a website I had to get into, and I locked myself out. ‘Phoned the number, 27 minutes on hold, the guy I spoke to put me on hold 3 times…then disappeared, to be replaced by a survey asking me how satisfied I was with my ‘customer experience’! Industry insiders won’t be surprised to hear that the organisation in question was the FCA. Whose invoice I was trying to pay. ‘Shambolic’ was one of many words that came to mind.
