Not really the tip, but by now most probably part of the hard core of a not-so-submerged iceberg (I know, sorry). Here’s another City firm, reducing from five floors of commuters to just one of home-workers who pop in from time to time. If you think of the cost per m2 of London office space vs that of a few laptops and ergonomic chairs for spare room offices, it’s a no brainer. And how joyful, as an employee, to be free of the 7.31 from Sevenoaks followed by strap-hanging on the Waterloo and City Line. Twice a day. Win win, I’d say.
