I may  be regaining my faith in our political leaders. Well, not those currently leading but those who may at some time. Vince has persuaded me that retiring at 75 may be a plan after all. He writes erotic thrillers in his spare time, for goodness sake (title, ‘One Shade of Grey’, according to The Newsquiz). And now Jeremy has provided a mainstream (ie, someone to vote for who might have a hope of winning) home for Remainers with what, if you close your eyes and squint, could be seen as a Second Referendum Manifesto Pledge. Almost worth risking an 80%-top-tax-rate band?
