Having slated Matt H yesterday for his ‘too little, too late’ salute to care workers, hats off to him for hitting both serious and popular breakfast radio with a user-friendly Chris Evans interview. He actually came over as a nice bloke who cares and is doing his best in a nightmare scenario. Which he probably is. You don’t go into politics for the money and, as a Roman who knew about stuff said very many years ago, glory is short-lived.  And I would guess that Piers Morgan earns more than the whole cabinet put together for rather less hours. And responsibility.
