Yes, a positive view on Brexit, from one of the most revered and respected fund managers in the business, whose company has commissioned a special report on the subject by experts. But here’s the thing: Mr Woodford runs UK Equity Funds. It would not be good, in fact, it would be disastrous for business were his experts (of whom we’ve all had enough anyway) to say our economy and stock market will tank. So they haven’t. As ‘no deal’ seems increasingly likely, I hope he’s right; but I’m not holding my breath.
