Here’s the sort of immigration policy some here think would be a vote-winner: to throw out all foreign workers and give their jobs to ‘our’ people. I suspect it won’t be long before the Saudi royals discover the simple truth that ‘our’ people would prefer to sit on their backsides and let someone else clean the toilets or work on building sites in 45º heat. Once again, be careful what you wish for.

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
