I love this story of a company owner who’s cut his own pay (drastically) and now pays every employee the same, giving many employees a massive pay rise. Everyone is much happier, they’re not stressing about making ends meet and so work much harder. Profits have increased (so the owner is I guess, actually making more money). Someone I met who works with older people told me he always asks what they would have done differently in their long lives. Most wish they hadn’t spent so much time worrying about unimportant things. Like money.

Here’s a future problem that will doubtless be kicked down the road until it becomes a crisis. There’s a whole generation who may never be able to afford to buy their own homes.
