Here’s another way that my working day has changed; or perhaps reverted. Because I have the time, I’ve found myself picking up the ‘phone rather than dashing off an email to clients and others. Funnily enough, people seem to like the novelty of this form of human interaction. Hard to remember that it’s become a novelty in probably less than ten years; I’ve spent most of my working life with a ‘phone glued to my ear and it was emails that were once a revelation. Maybe next we’ll all be buying some Basildon Bond (kids etc.) and writing letters again.

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
