It does show just how far the web of corruption and dodgy dollars seeped in to every corner and country, where too few or no questions would be asked if the price was right. There are 20 or more years of very tangled webs to untangle if they really want to follow and find the money. Most of which will, by now, be circumnavigating the globe in pretty much untouchable big yachts by now.

A couple of other Statement Highlights (in my world, anyway). A welcome ‘nothing happened’ on the treatment of pensions on death. They were never going to be liable to IHT (too complicated with trusts and trust law) but there was talk of making them income-taxable on the recipients at whatever age you die.
