The numbers of super, super, super rich people who’ve moved to live in Dubai has soared, apparently. What’s the attraction? Yes, it has nice hotels and lots of fancy high-rise apartments; yet it’s a desert in so many other ways and you can’t go outside for three months of the year. Beats me. But as it becomes harder to buy bits of Central London and football clubs over here with funds of dubious origin, I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
