In the excitement of Mother’s and birthdays, I omitted to mark another important anniversary last week. My last face-to-face client meeting was on 13th March 2020, with, as I write, no obvious end to a life of Zooming and other-online-meeting-apps-are-available. Will this really become ‘the way we do things’. Well, many think not, that it will become an historical footnote. I’m not so sure. I’ve been ending online client meetings with a cheery ‘let’s hope we can meet up again soon’. For the first time, one replied, ‘no, don’t worry, this is fine’. Which told me.
