He\u2019d get into Oxbridge, his father\u2019s old college, a few strings pulled, have a pretty enjoyable and louche time, cram to get through his finals then off to the City. That seems to have been the model for Brexit negotiations. Problem is, equal opportunities and all that, it doesn\u2019t work these days. As many a chap in our government may find out. A tad too late, and to our cost rather than theirs.
