Here’s some great, joined-up corporate thinking. A couple of days ago we read about one of Baille Gifford’s fund managers who said that ‘oil and gas stocks could be worthless within five years’. And today, Extinction Rebellion are protesting outside their offices because another has increased their investment in fossil fuel companies. Lip service, incompetence or left-hand/right-hand? Wouldn’t be ethical of me to voice an opinion.

What big investors, like fund managers, pension funds, and in this case the ultra-rich do with their money could save the planet more effectively than any of Boris’s bikes. Sorry, maybe that was a tad cynical. But if you want big business to take notice, money talks....
