Rubbish is very complicated these days. An epiphany that came to me while pondering whether to leave some beers out, as I would in days of yore, for the bin men. Problem is we now have 3, sometimes 4 sets of binmen, all of whom (I assume) work for different bin companies; so that’s a lot of beers and a lot of rubbish supposedly going in a lot of different directions. Privatisation, not planet-saving is to blame, I’d say. Let’s hope Oh-Jeremy-Corbyn renationalises and gives us back our good old council dustmen.
(P.S. 10-1 on I’ll have a reply to this within the hour which includes the words ‘strikes’, ‘rats’ and ‘Winter(s) of Discontent’. Kids etc.)
