I know I talk a lot about the lessons of history; but here are some more. In 1968, there were anti-war and civil rights demos and riots across America. The National Guard opened fire, people died, yet Nixon was elected president. Thatcher got her second term in 1983, despite race riots and record unemployment. A couple of years after more than a million marched through London against the invasion of Iraq, Blair was elected for a third time. And look who won our election in December. So, tragically and despite everything, I predict another four years of Trump. Saints preserve and Lord help us all.

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
