The hot weather has, as always, ensured that the fashion sense of the British male once again hits rock bottom. I’ve said for years that public, non-beach-related flip-flop wearers should be taxed or fined and this should surely be high on Rishi’s list as he looks for ways to raise extra cash. I’d charge double for middle-aged men walking topless in built-up areas, treble if a shaven-head and beard combination is involved. On a more serious note, in Spain there are on the spot fines for those not wearing masks or social-distancing, and you have to pre-book your spot on the beach. Not rocket science, is it?

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
