For those advisers who are working full-time, it seems there are plenty of potential clients out there. Many do put up barriers. We’re the only independent advisers within 20 miles who don’t have a minimum ‘level of wealth. However, whether the unadvised know they should or want to be clients is another question. Asking for help, in any aspect of life, can be a big step. It’s often a crisis which pushes you to it; had you asked earlier, the crisis may not have arisen; the problem might still be there, but forethought and planning could smooth the way.
