LD2 is being treated very differently by many. Just as in a 30 mph zone, a few drive at 29mph, most at 35, pushing the limits is becoming the norm. Garden centres are, for some reason, now considered ‘essential’ and allowed to open. In Burford’s, you have to seek out the one or two plants they still sell by wading or wandering through its book/interior/art/clothing,/gift/wine etc. departments, all of which were heaving in normal run-up-to-Christmas mode last weekend. All other book/interior/art/clothing/gift/wine shops within half a mile have to stay closed or be fined. It’s a funny old world. Stay safe, everyone.

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
