When everyone smoked like chimneys (kids etc.) the fag-makers were cancer deniers, much as many now deny climate-change. I predict oil companies and petrol cars will go the same way. It took nearly 40 years from the first proof that it caused cancer for smoking bans become law. So in 40 years time only Clarkson die-hards, kids thinking they’re cool and those who can’t afford them will be driving non-electrics. And most of Russia, China and Africa, of course; where they still all smoke like chimneys.

Here’s the flip side. Should a business not have the right to choose whom it serves? If you as a client, or more likely potential client, rub us up the wrong way, are a declared anti-vaxxer or support the barges, can we not, as a business, say ‘Be Gone’?
