I’ve been trying to buy a new jacket this week. Hunted around M&S, then was told ‘we don’t sell jackets any more, only trousers’. Really? By coincidence, a local Debenhams is opposite. Plenty of cheap suits, but no-one all over me like them to ask. Today I ventured into the ’Formal Menswear’ department in House of Fraser’s dingy basement and lost the will. So guess what? I’m ordering one online. No hope for any of them. I’d say.
