Those who might not be feeling better are the employers and businesses who didn’t furlough anyone or take any loans because they didn’t need or want to. 9m were furloughed, which means over 20m were not. They won’t be getting a £1,000 bonus in Jan., nor have they had any big-ups from Boris. A thank you can go a long way. If you want their votes next time around.
