We’ve been advising, relatively gently, I think, that the last month or so has been ‘a good time to invest’. Funds may well go down and up for a while, a year or more perhaps. But there’s a pretty good chance you’ll do very well, certainly better than if you’re starting point was January (sorry if you invested in Jan; really, who knew?) It looks like that advice has been heeded not just by our clients, but many more besides as record amounts were invested in April. So if you were brave enough to take the plunge, take comfort that you were not alone.
