They own, not houses, but offices, shopping centres (refuse to call them malls), industrial estates and the like but the principle is the same. The principle, in reality, being that they’re only as good as the tenants you can find for them; and, if you want to cash in, you need to find someone to buy your retail park. As that’s most likely to have to be another property fund, the dominos could keep on tumbling.
