So that’s good, isn’t it. Not sure the message has got through, though, as HSBC this week announced it’s moving seven offices and 1000 jobs to Paris, Bank of America 200 and fund manager Baillie Gifford is opening a new operation in Dublin and ‘The Square Mile could see up to 12,000 jobs lost in the short-term aftermath of Brexit with thousands more at stake longer term, the City of London Corporation has warned that ‘the Square Mile could see up to 12,000 jobs lost in the short-term aftermath of Brexit with thousands more at stake longer term’.
